Concinnity Risks was founded 10 years ago by Erin and Eireann to do Cyber Risk Quantification. The harmonious arrangement of cyber risks is possible, but takes diligence, data, and praxis. We dedicate ourselves to studying the cyber risks, quantifying them, and building new tools to allow diligent and intentional risk transfer.
We offer portfolio monitoring, quantification, and cyber risk management services. We do catastrophe modelling, risk selection API, and cyber crime data sourcing. Eireann Leverett
Founder / Chief Technology Officer
Bio
Eireann is responsible for platform architecture, scan design, correlation engine and ransomware model.
He ranked in the Top Ten Google scholars of Cyber Risk and Cyber Insurance researchers.
He is part of multidisciplinary team that built the first cyber risk models for insurance with Cambridge University Centre for Risk Studies and RMS.
He is a regular speaker at cyber security conferences; insurance and risk conferences and Co-chair of FIRST.org’s MultiStakeHolder Ransomware SIG.
He co-authored papers on the aggregation of cyber security risks, heavy tails of ransomware, the book “Solving Cyber Risk” and contributed to the Lloyds’ RDS research paper “Business Blackout”.
Erin Burns
Co-founder / Director of Offensive Security Research
Bio
Erin is responsible for malware analysis, cyber threat intelligence, designing counter-malware solutions and financial fraud at the scan (micro) and portfolio (macro) levels.
Her background intersects financial audit, investigation, and technology. An experienced web and mobile application penetration tester and software developer with expertise in malware reverse engineering, cyber security risk, and full-stack development.
She co-authored a number of technical papers on ransomware, tail risk and risk accumulation, having helped develop the financial forensic techniques that underpin our proprietary RansomCoin database.
She is a frequent speaker at industry events, Erin’s expertise led the development of Concinnity’s threat analysis capability.
Sam Marsden
Head of Product & Technology
Bio
Responsible for cloud architecture, platform scaling, feature design and reliability.
Background: ex Formula One engineer with over a decade of experience in programming and bringing technical products to market.
Highlights: a three-time founder in the fields of motorsport, AI coaching and biomedical science.
Sam’s taken start-ups from a drawing on a whiteboard to over 40,000 users a month.
